The idea of this project was to design and create a piece of furniture, which generates an exchange between the user and the object. So instead of only using it, you are in exchange with it. At the same time it should evoke a feeling of security, well-being and harmony. The feeling of security arises through an harmonic exchange with your environment. An exchange is only possible with a living sender/receiver. So if you give a piece of furniture the possibility to communicate in a natural way, it creates a connection. A relationship is being built between the user and the object, which results in a feeling of well-being. The object requires responsibility and rewards the user with security.
